Prishe on Shakespeare

Prishe, in a dramatic moment, reflects on the words of The Bard.
"To be or not to be.."
That is a question we cats never ask. We simply are.
"I bear a charmed life.."
Well yes, nine of them in fact.
"There's daggers in men's smiles..."
And in cat's claws.
"A horse! A horse! My kingdom for a horse!"
Hmph, why not a cat?

  1. Double, double toil and trouble; Fire burn and cauldron bubble, Eye of newt, and toe of frog,
Wool of bat, and tongue of dog - (Origin: From Shakespeare's Macbeth, 1605)

Shakespeare must have had a cat - this sounds like something a witches cat would come up with.

  2. Excellent point! I hadn't realized tongue of dog was in that recipe. Only a cat could have come up with that.
