Happy Birthday to the Paw-some Five!
WE (Dot, Sally, Sunshine, Sugar and Jack) are ONE year old today! Mommy stayed home and we partied til we were pooped!
We woke her up at 6:22 so we could get started on our birthday breakfast!
Next it was time to open presents; someone sent us this big package from Amazon!!!
Thanks hooman Grandma for this great box of toys from The Natural Pet Company!
We will try to not tear them all up on the first day!
Mommy got us this great stuff.
Spirals for Jack, Bees on a stick for Sally and Sunni, treats and catnip/catnip spray for everyone. Jack has already un-spiraled Orange, Pink and Green; Blue is MIA. The bees are already off the stick just like the butterfly we got last month but it is ok! We like it like that!
After brunch (for mommy) and a short nap, we had CAKE (fish flavored) and ICE CREAM (vanilla)!
That sure was the best birthday a kitty ever had...
BUT WAIT
There is more....
Our KITNIP BOX came today. How paw-some is dat!

Happy Mother's Day
When your mom tells you "Happy Cat Mother's Day", you know that 1) she has given up on grandchildren and 2) you have too many cats.
I have plenty of friends who will tell me that I don't know what love truly is because I don't have children. That it is a gift beyond imagining and that I don't know what I am missing.
I could say the same to people who don't share a bond with pets. Maybe pet love is a gift that was given to humans because God knows sometimes we are alone for one reason or another, sometimes by choice, sometimes not. They don't know what they are missing either.
I know pets aren't children.
It isn't the same thing.
But love is love....
